Residency Project

"Meeting the Scene"

This is a crash course in the most important tools an actor needs to start working on a scene in a play or film. We will rehearse scenes from Canadian plays, focusing on the tools an actor can employ when they first ‘meet’ the scene to more quickly feel comfortable and engaged. We will discuss goals, motivations, relationships, the importance of listening, and how listening changes an actor’s tactics.

Teaching Experience

I am currently a supply teacher with the Anglophone West school district. I taught swimming lessons, boating lessons, and Junior outdoors club for the Canadian Red Cross from 2009-2011.
