Amanda Fauteux is an interdisciplinary artist who lives within the traditional territory of Mi’kma’ki known as Sackville, New Brunswick, and in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her practice is research-driven and develops through site-specific and responsive methodologies. In 2019 she began an ongoing collaboration with her partner Miranda Bellamy. Fauteux has participated in exhibitions, screenings, residencies, and festivals since 2006.
