Dominique Ambroise Ibsen holds a MFA degree in Visual Arts, Experimental Direction, from York University. Later on she devoted herself to oil painting. Along with her art career, she was the manager of the experimental art gallery Galerie Sans Nom, taught visual arts at secondary and university levels and at the Art Gallery of Ontario, and worked as graphic designer, photographer and theatre costume designer. She has lived and worked in France, Canada, Iceland, Belgium and India.
