Jennifer Lee Wiebe is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and researcher whose practice explores themes of communication, globalization, and hegemony through the settler lens of dual citizenship in the United States and Canada. Working across disciplines, Wiebe investigates language, power, and belonging — asking how images and objects carry political weight in an increasingly interconnected world. Her scholarly work has been published in Visual Arts Research and presented at conferences across Canada and Europe, including the InSEA World Congress and the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education. She is the recent recipient of the Sheila Mackay Advanced Studies Scholarship in support of her doctoral studies at Concordia University.  Her artwork has been exhibited across Canada and the United States, with recent exhibitions at Acadia University Gallery, Sunbury Shores Art and Ecology Centre, Atelier Galerie 2112 in Montréal, and Sidle House Gallery in Freeport, Maine.  Her work is held in the New Brunswick Arts Bank collection.
