Yalda is an Iranian/Canadian ceramic artist. She studied Ceramics in Canada and the UK and has been working with this material specifically but not exclusively to address issues that affected her deeply. Social issues like war and destruction, mental health, depression and violence have been some of the sources of inspiration; however, her psyche and personal experiences feed her creativity.
