Jack Bishop is from Quispamsis, and now lives and works in Halifax (Kjipuktuk). He received a BFA from NSCAD University in 2007 with a major in Fine Art and a Minor in Drawing. Jack has been a recipient of “Emerging artist of the year” from ArtsNB, as well as receiving creation grants from Arts NB, Arts NS, and the Canada Council for the Arts. His artwork has been featured in The National Post, Visual Arts News, the Chronicle Herald, The Telegraph Journal, in photo essays on CBC.ca, and most recently on TV on the CBC Arts program Exhibitionists.
